If your current instrument is difficult to play or sounds bad, consider one of these options. I’ve played all of these and they are each excellent. 1: My first pick is the Kala Concert Ukulele ($80). It sounds amazing and is a bit larger than the most common size (Soprano).

2: The Cordoba concert ukulele is slightly higher quality, but sound will not be much different from the awesome Kala. ($100)

If you are on a strict budget, you could search Facebook Marketplace, etc for used ukuleles (concert or tenor size preferred). Generally, anything under $50 or so has a high risk of being un-playable.

3: If you’d like a smaller size (Soprano), the Kala soprano is an incredible instrument at just $57.

This Song Chart gives you the info to play the song. However, it’s a REALLY good idea to listen to it and get to know how it goes. That makes everything easier!

I suggest listening to the version in the link below. This video has a woman singing and playing this song AND showing you how to strum it. Some of the strumming will be more advanced than what I’ve showed you, but don’t worry. You can try her way if you’re up for the challenge, OR you can play along with simpler strumming like I’ll show you.
